Take out the word "immigration" from illegal immigration, and you're left with the truth: "illegal". Imagine for a minute that the homes surrounding your house were broken into and the thieves decide, instead of just taking a few things and moving on, they are going to live there until someone has them removed. They don't follow the rules of your home owner's association; they vandalize the neighborhood; they don't carry proper levels of home owners or automobile insurance consequently increasing your personal levels of liability and expense; they impact your neighborhood and they influence your children. To make matters worse, you can't do anything about it. Civil rights groups picket in your front yard whenever you call the police to remove the people who have illegally moved into the homes to your left and right. Their friends and associates spray paint your house and harrass your family for daring to suggest that they leave. They claim that it's their right to live in your neighborhood, whether they can afford the mortgage payments or not, and refuse to leave. Ironically, you and the other legitimate home owners in your neighborhood are forced to pool your money, food, and other resources to help support the theives that have moved into your neighborhood. If they get sick, you pay for it. If they need financial assistance, out comes your wallet. If they are looking for girlfriends, well...your sisters are attractive. And if they have a child while living in the house that they broke into, they're now US Citizen's. Crime rates increase. Your family's safety is in jeopardy. Your kids are afraid to play outside because of the mobs and civil rights activists who are standing in defense of people who have illegally broken into homes in your neighborhood, stolen property, set up base camp and now refuse to leave. Oh, by the way, the President feels that you're wrong for wanting the theives to actually buy the house next door instead of stealing it.
